Story
The story is set in 1952 in the anecdotal network of Gray Rocks Nova Scotia. where Jim (Gage Munroe), a 12-year-old kid, faces tormenting at school. His bereaved mother (Carrie-Anne Moss) runs a neighborhood motel, which is confronting a takeover by a well off family. Ocean chief Charles Johnson (Donald Sutherland) seems to help Jim and his mom through their battles. Be that as it may, Johnson has all the earmarks of being a privateer who evidently kicked the bucket two centuries ago.[1][2]
The story depends on William Gilkerson’s book Pirate’s Passage which won the 2006 Governor General’s Award for English-language youngsters’ literature.[3]
