Story (My Neighbor Totoro Hindi Dubbed)

A father and two daughters move to the village. The house is so old that it is about to collapse. It contains spirits – “black chernushki”, susuvatari . The mother of the family is in the hospital, and during her illness, all housework falls on the shoulders of the father and eldest daughter Satsuki. Soon, the restless younger sister Mei meets a small forest spirit, who, unwittingly, leads her to a larger spirit, and then to the big Tторtoro, the guardian of the forest, who lives nearby. Later, Satsuki also meets Totoro when the girls are waiting for their father at the bus stop. At the same time, Totoro, like other fabulous creatures in the cartoon, is invisible to adults.

Totoro gives the girls a small bundle of bamboo leaves containing seeds. The girls plant seeds in their vegetable garden, and at night Totoro and the spirits help them germinate. The next day, the hospital reports that Mom will not be able to return home for the weekend. Upset, Mei quarrels with her sister and goes to her mother herself, but on the way she gets lost. Worried, Satsuki and the surrounding area look for her everywhere, but to no avail. Then Totoro, at the request of Satsuki, helps to find her. The catbus takes the girls to Shichikokuyama Hospital, and the girls see that everything is fine with their mother.
