About 80 million years ago, during the Upper Cretaceous , a small Tarbosaurus named Spotty (so called because of a stain on the eye) lives happily together with his family consisting of a mother, two sisters and his elder brother Quick. The family lives in a thriving valley, where they are the undisputed rulers. However, the peaceful life of the family is threatened by the presence of One-Eye (so called because of a scar that has blinded his left eye) a Tyrannosaurus Rex, which disputes the territory to the family of Spotty. To avoid having to share the territory with the family of Spotty, One-Eye elaborates a cunning plan: while the family of Tarbosauri is hunting causes a mass flight of thousands of herbivores that divides the family: the two sisters of Spotty fall into a precipice pushed by the other dinosaurs, while the brother is overwhelmed by the horde of herbivores to save Spotty. The only member who manages to escape is the mother, who is however reached and challenged by One-Eye, who after a hard fight throws her from the precipice under the eyes of little Spotty, now an orphan .
