Yogi Bear (titled as Yogi Bear or Yogi Bear in Spanish-speaking countries) is the film adaptation of the series animated by Hanna-Barbera Yogi Bear’s show . The film blends computer animation and real image and will be displayed with three-dimensional technology .
Its release in the United States was on December 17 of 2010 . 1 It was distributed by Warner Bros. and became the first film of Hanna-Barbera that did not have the assistance of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera , who died in 2001 and in 2006 respectively.
With Eric Brevig as conductor and Donald De Line, Karen Rosenfelt and Tim Coddington as producers, filming began in November 2009. Dan Aykroyd starred in giving voice to Yogi Bear , while singer Justin Timberlake did the same with his partner Boo Boo. The film is preceded by a short film in three dimensions of El Coyote and Road Runner titled “Rabid Rider”.
Yogi (voiced by Dan Aykroyd) and Boo Boo (voiced by Justin Timberlake) are two brown bears who have a penchant for stealing picnic baskets from visitors to Jellystone Park, while Smith (Tom Cavanaugh) and Ranger Jones (TJ Miller ) try to prevent them from doing. Meanwhile, Mayor Brown (Andrew Daly) realizes that his city is facing a financial crisis due to wastage of you. To fix and fund his campaign to be the next governor of the state, the mayor decides to “find some place losing money so I can win,” and that includes Jellystone, the park where the bears live. The park is selected as a logging site, and Jellystone is closed. Now to see that your home is in danger of being destroyed, it’s up to Yogi and Boo Boo, along with Ranger Smith and a documentary-shooter named Rachel (Anna Faris) to save the park. To save the park from closing, Ranger Smith holds a Centennial festival where he hopes to make a profit selling season passes. To sabotage the effort, Mayor Brown plays Ranger Jones ambition that keeps the head and promises the position if the funds are not raised. Yogi had promised Smith to stay out of sight during the festival, but Jones convinces him to go ahead with a plan to help. Yogi tries to please the crowd with a waterskiing performance which goes awry when he inadvertently puts his coat on fire. In the chaos that followed, the fireworks Smith set up overturned and caught fire prematurely, launching them into the assembled audience who flee in panic. After Jellystone is shut down, Ranger Smith is forced to stay in Evergreen Park, a small urban enclave choked with garbage and pollution. Smith, Rachel, Yogi and Boo Boo plan to stop the sale of Jellystone. They learn that Boo Boo pet turtle is a rare species, which means that the park can not be destroyed with the turtle there. Mayor Brown discovers and orders his guards to kidnap the turtle so you can cut all the trees and confesses to Jellystone Yogi, Smith, Rachel, and Boo Boo, that the law does not care and wants power over what is best for people and the environment. However, Rachel had already put a video camera in Boo Boo’s bow tie as part of the documentary that sincere confession later recorded Mayor Brown. The turtle escapes Brown, assistant to the mayor, using his tongue like a frog in the forest redone from the car. Yogi and Boo Boo keep the guards distracted so that Ranger Smith can upload Mayor Brown involuntary confession to the big screen. When Mayor Brown turns his attention to the screen to display the image which is then cut to show the public harangue his true feelings positive campaign. His confession is played on the TV news and the police arrest Mayor Brown and his chief of staff found no rare turtle when the turtle reveals people. Smith gets his job and saves the Park.
